I am a first-year engineering student at McMaster University who loves problem-solving and innovation. I am interested in both mechanical and electrical engineering as I enjoy seeing how they shape the world around us. My hobbies include working on creative projects, exploring new technologies, and reading about philosophy. I have a passion for martial arts and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking that help me stay active.
I chose engineering because it allowed me to combine my creativity and problem-solving skills with analytical thinking in order to take on real-world challenges. My high school co-op experience in underwater imaging systems and laser technology have helped to reinforce this passion, as I've seen firsthand how much I enjoy the work in this field. I look forward to the continued learning and growth throughout my journey and making valuable contributions toward projects.
